Halo Lovelies,
As you all know, I love to find cheap quality finds. I never used to visit Thrift shops but one of my friends tagged me on her thrift escapade once and I have got addicted ever since. You wouldnt believe what stuff you can find at a thrift stores. Its even more awesome and cheaper in the States compared to Singapore but I am not complaining coz there are some good stuff that you can find here too..
Last Friday, I happened to find one of the Salvation Army Thrift shops near my work place. During lunch, I needed to get out and get some fresh air. Being in an industrial area, there isnt much shops compared to that of other industrial areas I have worked in where you can find warehouse sales.
From clothes, toys, household items, books you name it you can find it! I saw some pretty cute stuff and I really wished I could bring them home. The proceeds from the sales goes to the needy so I dont really feel bad about buying these goods. The clothes didnt interest me, but I found a book from Nora Roberts that I liked.
So my current book for the month is this.
The Sweetest Summer, how apt to read it now... New York best seller so who is gonna complain. The book is still very new and I got it for how much you may ask. This is sold at book stores at minimum SGD 20 but i got this for just SGD 4. It was actually SGD 5 but the lady at the store gave a discount... Who doesnt love discounts... :) I certainly do.
