He who obeys the Messenger has indeed obeyed Allaah [al-Nisa' 4:80]
Good evening ladies,
I still havent had the time to write about the skirts I bought as I have been caught up with other work and I hadnt had the chance to take some pictures wearing them. I bought both online and I am very much in love with them and their price. That is definitely in my to do list and I promise to do that asap.
Today I have a review on Krispy Kreme...The all soo famous donut place has finally landed in Singapore and I really needed to know what the hype was about. The last time I heard about this was from a youtube video of how a staff of Krispy Kreme went all the way to satisfy the customers requirements when she could have just said no.
I was at Raffles Place the other day and saw the Krispy Kreme outlet and thought I should check it out. The prices were like a turn off for me. It was SGD 2.60 for original and all other flavoured were SGD 2.95. Since I really wanted to try it, and find out for myself what the hype it was all about, I asked which was the best seller and they recommended the New York Cheesecake.
The taste of cheesecake filling, cream cheese icing and graham cracker crunch for a true cheesecake doughnut. It was nice but too sweet for my taste. Normally my sweet resistance is quite low and I can get really high on sugar. This was extremely sweet for me and I was eating just pieces here n there and the Icing and filling was just too heavy and sweet for me to handle.
Rate: 3/5
I am a J.CO doughnut fan hands down and will be their loyal customer always. Their prices are not only affordable and tasty too with many varieties of tastes. Will do that review another day.
Thats all for now.
Love,
B.H

Sale...Sale...Sale
“God does not forbid you to be kind and equitable to those who have neither fought against your faith nor driven you out of your homes. In fact God loves the equitable.” Qur’an:60:8
I went to my old neighborhood yesterday. Its nostalgic when you have pleasant and sweet memories of a place where you once shared it with family and friends. It has just been less than 8 months since I moved into this new neighborhood and there already so many changes in my old one. We walked around downtown east ehub to find so many new shops. Since we went on a weekday afternoon, the place was quiet and very convenient for us to walk about.
Just as I was walking past a few shops, I noticed this factory outlet store which seemed to catch my attention with the "SALE" signs.
Everything was going at "Buy one and get one free" and I was like Whaaaaattt!!?? Since I was with my other hub who was impatiently going elsewhere, I couldnt really browse that much. But a few outfits caught my eyes but i had already gone above my budget in splurging on stuff.

Not all maybe fantastic but I am sure one or two outfits wont disappoint you. If you happen to be around the area, do give this place a browse. You might get lucky to find something you like.

Pears - Review
And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty) [al-Talaaq 65:2]
Hello sweethearts,
Hope all is well. When all are switching to shower gels and creams, I am a bit old school. There are moments when I wish to bath with shower gels and there are those moments when I feel really clean when I bath with a bar of soap. Thank God, Alhamdulillah, I dont have sensitive skin that breaks down when I try different types of soap.
Since last month, as I had run out of my usual soap that I discovered on my last trip to India, called Medimix Transparent. Under Medimix, there are different types which is the old normal bar and there is this glycerine added bar which I dont really like. But this Transparent, I just love it to the core. Its smell is refreshing and long lasting too..

I have to stock it up when I go to India this December. Since I couldnt find this soap in the market I had no choice but to pick up Pears. This brand too has many different varieties and colours. Its hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. I took the green one too (not sure whats with me and green colours). This has Oil Clear abilities with lemon flower extracts.
This smells amazing and refreshing too. One thing negative to say about this soap is that they really lathers quickly and finishes up fast. Other than that, although it doesnt have a strong fragrance as compared to Medimix transparent, I still find this soap not bad.
It has the least amount of ingredients (sodium palmitate, natural rosin, glycerine, sodium cocoate, water, rosemary extract, thyme extract, and pears fragrance essence) Its refreshing and is very skin friendly. Those with sensitive skin can use this without fear.
Whats your favourite soap? If you are using anything remarkable, do let me know so I can try it out too...

Naked 2 Palette & Lip Scrub
O children of Adam, you shall be clean and dress nicely when you go to the masjid. And eat and drink moderately; Surely, He does not love the gluttons. (7:31)
Good Evening sisters, Its time for me to open up to what I got in the mail today. I actually placed an order for Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette and a Lip Scrub.
To start of with the lip scrub, it cost me just less than 4 SGD. This smells sooo good like strawberries. Its actually sugar and petroleum jelly pigmented with strawberry colouring and flavours. It tastes good too...Its so hard to resist not eating it while scrubbing your lips. This really helps to exfoliate your lips and remove any dead skin and makes the lips lusher and plump. Its great to do this twice every week.
Next, is the Naked 2 Urban Decay eyeshadow palette that I have been dying to get all this while. You can find them at Sephora but its really very expensive which I could not make myself to purchase. But, I wouldnt be more than glad to have purchased this. I just wanted to have fun with the colors creating the smokey eye effect with this palette. I am soo glad I bought this.
Just look at these tempting colors.
Swatch of the colors from the palette
I have yet to try it out to check how good they are and if the pigmentation of the colors are good. I have no doubt that it would look great. It comes with a 2 in 1 Crease and Shadow Brush. Its soo awesome that I wish I had a party or something, as an excuse to try this palette out.
I am indeed a very happy customer. For those who have no clue how to do a smokey eye effect eyeshadow to their eye, there are plenty of videos on Youtube that offer tutorials on this palette.
Ok sisters, its late and I have to hit the sack. Till next time, with more interesting information, good night.

Goodies Arrived
24:30-31 Dressing modestly, therefore, is a trait of the believing men and women. The minimum requirements for a woman's dress is to lengthen her garment (33:59) and to cover her chest. Tyrannical Arab traditions have given a false impression that a woman must be covered from head to toe; such is not a Quranic or Islamic dress.
Look what I got!!!
I just love to get stuff in the post. I have already opened it as I couldnt stand the wait. However, i will only give you the review tomorrow. So, my dear sisters, keep on guessing what it might be. All i can say right now is that it is full of colours....
So keep on waiting, if you are lucky, I might even publish it today.

Potato Salad - Cheapest Alternative during a Diet
"Indeed, it is We who brought them [with beauty] into being." (Qur'an 56:35)
Hey Ladies,
Have you ever checked the prices of salads these days...Its been the go to food these days since every one is really looking into getting healthy and into shape. But seriously paying 7 to 8 bucks for a bunch of greens that you can get it at mere 2 bucks is daylight robbery.
The last time i ate Potato salad at Starbucks coz I had no other alternative, it cost me around 5 bucks plus, i guess.... Obviously they used the quality ingredients to keep up to their company label. Well, something similar wouldnt hurt me or my ego in the name of diet.
So i recreated the same recipe with what I had in the kitchen. Looks like and tastes similar maybe more delicious. I once served this salad for an open house Eid Celebration and it was yummylicious. Even a Briton asked me the recipe for that salad. U should see me gleaming with joy that day.
All you need are the following ingredients and restaurant quality healthy potato salad ready.
Ingredients
Cooked potatoes
Greek Yoghurt
Salt to taste
Ground Pepper
Coriander/Basil/Spring Onions - Garnish
Thats it. Mix up the required and serve cold. Its deliciously healthy and fills you with healthy carbs for the day. If you have this, you wouldnt even crave for rice and you wouldnt feel hungry for a while.

Starbucks Frappuccino - At a Budget
"He is the One who created for you, all things on earth and then turned to the heavens and made them seven heavens. He is knowledgeable of all things." (Qur'an 5:29)
Good morning lovelies,
I am back with more yummy findings at a good budget. For those who love Starbucks beverages like me, but find it an extra expense to spend 6 bucks for a small cup..here is an alternative. This is however, just a replacement that you can buy in the stores. I have however some recipes that you can recreate at home to actually match Starbucks drinks. That will be for another day so I can actually write up with pictures. For now, its Starbucks coffee that you can get at half the price at the supermarket. I know that it would be no match to the fresh coffees but still its worth it if we made slight tweaks to it.
You can get the Starbucks Frappuccino in 3 flavours, namely, Mocha, Coffee and Caramel. It costs just SGD 2.85 from the supermarkets. You can chill them in the fridge and enjoy the same Starbucks coffee at half the price. It comes in a sealed cute bottle and if you cant finish it, you can actually seal it back in the fridge and keep for later.
It contains just 200 calories to keep you going and awake for the rest of the day. For those on the go, this is the best alternative instead of waiting in the queue at the Starbucks.
How I like to tweak or jazz it up is by blending slightly more milk and ice cubes to make crushed blended coffee. I will pour in the glass, put some whipped creams that you can find it the supermarkets that sell it at SGD 4. I might decorate it with chocolate chips or sprinkles, caramel or chocolate sauce on the top. This will look exactly like the coffee that we get at Starbucks at half the price.
I have also recipes to recreate Cotton Candy and Shamrock Frappuccino using milk and other products from our kitchen making it Starbucks quality and tasty too..This is for another day though. Till then,
Love

Little Hearts wid a Big Heart - Walk through memory lane
"Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has faith, verily, to them will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure, and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions." Chapter 16, Verse 97
I have been really pumped with so many posts today. I have to catch up with all the lagging behind. When I went to Mustafa yesterday, (for all those who dont know what Mustafa is - Its a huge, very huge *rolling eyes* shopping mall thats open 24 hours 365 days a year!!!
While I was searching for some biscuits for my son, I came upon my childhood favourite whenever I visited India. Those who grew up in India or have lived there at any point of their lives would know about this biscuit. Its called Little Hearts. Ring a bell ??
This used to our mid day snack among the boarding school students. It this small petite puffy biscuits coated with sugar on the top. I seriously cant stop at one, and I am trusting that you dont either. Bought this at 0.70 cents only. I simply loved it. Brought back fond memories as a kid in school.
Mustafa carries a huge selection and collection of food items and products from India and other parts of the world. The only cons that I always turns me off is the crowd no matter what time you go on to do shopping at Mustafa. There are more items that really trigger my memories of Indian schooling. Hope to relive more memories soon.
I guess, I bored you guys enough, I should stop... Will write more soon. Take care.

Healthy Rice Salad - Made right at the comfort of home at a budget :)
By means of it We produce gardens of dates and grapes for you, in which there are many fruits for you and from which you eat. - Surat al-Mu'minun: 19
Good Morning Lovelies,
I have got a recipe for you to try out which really tastes awesome and you wouldnt even feel like you are on a diet. The main ingredient is rice. Yes! You read it correctly. Who said we have to omit rice while on a diet. Yes of course its good if we did. But being Asian, this is one of the must eat carbs. Trust me, in our healthy diet, we have to included one portion of carbs, one portion of fruits and vegetables and a portion of proteins from lean meat.
I call this SAS - Summer Asian Salad. All you need for this is as follows, if you dont have any of these items, you can replace it with the same amount of any alternative food you like. Just dont go overboard with the amount. Remember LIMIT is the key to our diet.
Summer Asian Salad
Ingredients
1 Cup - Rice (Brown or White) (cooled) - You may replace this with potatoes
170g - Chicken Breasts (grilled and sliced)
1/2 - medium mango (diced)
1/2 - medium cucumber (diced)
A dash of salt and pepper
Spring Onion/ Basil/ Coriander Leaves for garnish
Dressing
1 lime - juiced
1/2 tbsp - Rice Vinegar
1/2 tbsp - Sesame Oil
1/2 tbsp - Honey
Toss all ingredients and sprinkle the dressing over the salad. Garnish with leaves and serve.
If you dont have Vinegar or sesame oil , you can just replace it with Olive Oil and paprika.
Try it and let me know your views.

Vegetarian Meals - At a Budget
He sends down water from the sky from which We bring forth growth of every kind, and from that We bring forth the green shoots and from them We bring forth close-packed seeds, and, from the spathes of the date-palm, date clusters hanging down, and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates, both similar and dissimilar. Look at their fruits as they bear fruit and ripen. There are signs in that for people who believe.
- Surat al-An'am: 99
Hello my lovelies,
Today I had been really busy with prepping up my son for his exam. I was just too lazy to cook. Since, I needed to get some question papers for my son to do at a store in Little India, I decided to have a good meal. I usually or mostly try to eat vegetarian when I am out. Of all the vegetarian food restaurants in that area, Komala Vilas or Komalas are quite popular. Back in those days, when I was a kid, we used to visit Madras New Woodlands Veg Restaurant.
This is located at 14 Upper Dickson Road. Heard they opened a new branch which offers buffet at Cuff Road at an affordable price. Will have to check that out soon.
(Credits: www.hungrygowhere.com)
The reason why I prefer this restaurant is that I get a homely touch and care in the food compared to what I am served at KV (Komala Vilas). I ordered a South Indian set meal. I just loved it.
From Left to right : Buttermilk, onion raita, jau jau veggie, cabbage fry, mint chutney, vermicelli payasam, rasam, sambhar, vatha kolumbu, potato-cauliflower fry, pappadum and rice. They also had this pickled dried chilli that goes well with the buttermilk. It was a feast. Of course, nothing compares to vegetarian meals from India, but this will do for now.
The items in the menu may differ each day. It costs merely 6.90 sgd compared to the 8.80 sgd at KV. It also tastes like home cooked food. For a budget price and good taste, I am glad that I had vegetarian today as I feel light and not bloated. They also provide dosa, pongal, naan, pizza etc and it tastes equally good.
To control what we eat, we really had to keep our appetite in control. Maybe tomorrow, lets control our food intake by creating a salad to eat. I have the major items that are required, if they are unavailable, you may mix or adjust with whichever food item that you want or like. I will write again soon, till then give me your support and keep on reading my blog.
Best regards

Crazy Collections - Traditional Indian Dress Review
Surah 24 : 30
Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.
Hi Girls,
Sorry for being late again on my review. Been busy with my little one and the family. I needed some rest as well as I have been lacking sleep lately. Have been really been pumped up with lots of ideas and proposals to explore more into fashion. In shaa Allah Lets see how that goes.
Now, lets get on with my review on a Traditional Indian Wear that I bought from a friend who is having an online business. She is one of ex hostel mates back at high school and she owns a clothing line featuring sarees, chudithars and all indian wear. They are very affordable and beautiful. You can search them in Facebook under Crazy Collections and they are certainly crazy! The prices are just too tempting to not say yes to.
I was simply the talk of the town and the highlight of the party. People were pouring in with envy and admiration for how I dress it nicely and was complimented. Sometimes, when you receive compliments for how you look or what you wear, you feel very content and happy for the purchase we did and the effort taken to maintain that look. I was a satisfied buyer.
Its a beautiful blue and red combo velvet and netted long dress with pants and dupatta which has velvet lining. It has a netted material over the dress to add on to its beauty. There is a gold design work at the hands and back of the dress.
I paired this dress with a large tikli on my forehead and some bangles. Some makeup and a big smile and I was ready. If you need more information on who and how to contact the seller, please leave your comments below and I would answer them asap. You may check out their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CrazyCollections.in
Their collections are reasonably priced and they have a huge collections. Trust me, you wont be disappointed.

Abaya - Review
If any one desires a reward in this life, in Allah's (gift) is the reward (both) of this life and of the hereafter: for Allah is He that heareth and seeth (all things).
( سورة النساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #134)
Hi my dear lovely sisters,
Sorry for not keeping my word on writing the blog frequently, got caught up with family and guests...I also had a friend come and visit us here. I received an abaya from Dubai from a very close friend from school. I pretty much realized that Dubai has so much of choices of abayas to choose from that we can hardly make up our mind.
I was really needing abayas for daily wear and I needed something very simple. My friend sent in pictures of many abayas asking me what I liked and I could not make a decision. There were plenty of beautiful abayas to choose from the dubai abaya market. Till I visit the showroom, I am not able to give you a review of them all. This particular abaya cost only 120 dirhams which is very cheap compared to those sold here. We do get abayas around that price but it would be of a different quality and you probably wouldnt get a latest design.
I however have no idea of the current abaya trend there but I am really hoping to visit Dubai someday and purchase many abayas. I do have some pictures of abayas sent by friend and that would be for another day.
There are so many varieties of designs at very reasonable prices. I have heard from my friends that usually tourists usually buy abayas in bulk of 10 pcs and more.
I have so much to write and yet have been caught up with lots of work. I promise to try to catch up. And to my followers who had questioned me on why I havent been writing for the past few days, thank you on having the time to follow my blog.
Next in line is about a review on Crazy Collections Online boutique's Traditional Wear...Stay Tuned.

Hijab Style - Face Frame
The most common problem of all hijabis including me at times is that we rarely style our hijab the right way to compliment our face shape. This also depends on the type of hijab material that we are using to style. You can get so many inspirations from so many hijab sisters all around the world. My inspiration would be YastheSpaz89, DinaTokio, Bubblegumhijab and a lot more others. These sisters have Youtube Channels where they provide inspirations and tutorials of how to dress and style our hijabs. Go check them out and enjoy your journey into your new style.
While searching the net, I saw this which might come in handy to all my hijabi followers. Credits to Miss Hijabi.com for creating such a nice illustration for sisters who are wondering which style suits them.
I hope this helps. I know that most of my sister's have no time to spare with all the hard work they are putting in to fend their family and household. I will try my best to give you all the information and tips I know and can get so that you can view it all in one place.
Till then,
Love

Teacher's Day Gift @ Budget
Laa yukal-lifullahu nafsan illa ‘uaha
Allah burdens no soul beyond what it can bare.
Good Morning my lovely ladies, What have you been upto lately?
I have to apologize my delay in writing my blogs as I got caught up with things at home.
Anyways, back to business, lets talk about getting a gift for our teachers shall we.
There are plenty of unique as well as useful gifts in the market to get your teachers. To those who can afford expensive gifts, lucky you. To those who really cant afford expensive gifts, here are a few options or places you can look at.
- Typo
- Popular
- NTUC Fairprice
- Florists at the market
- Pop cart shops etc
Then, this cute teddy wand just caught my eye. Though it can serve as a decor item only or maybe a wand for kids to play, it doesnt really serve much purpose. It cost only SGD 5.90 and were adorable. It comes with a small note to personalize it. They really looked very cute and I am sure every little girl will love it. But i wanted to get something really useful.
Then I found this.
It was a small towel folded in a way to represent a sandwich and a drinking tumbler. And you would believe it but it cost just SGD 3.90. This was like double damakka. It falls under a very good budget and its very useful to. Hope the teachers will like this gift.
If i chance upon any other neat gifts, will snap a few pictures and note down their prices so that you can get something similar or the same item.
Stay tuned, will be writing a review on an Indian Cultural Dress that I purchased quite a while ago that I really love.
Till then,

How I (try to) keep myself fit...(at a budget)
“O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Quran), and a healing for that which is in your hearts.” (Quran 10:57)
“And We send down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe...” (Quran 17:82)
Good day my lovelies
As promised, I couldnt keep up to it for not writing yesterday, reason being is that I had guests over at my place and the computer had some issues that I had to reformat it. Now its fine. So lets continue shall we...
Lets take a break from fashion tips and get to health tips...and yes, at a very promising budget :)
Trust me, there were times when I had to splurge more 10000 bucks to get my body back in shape, and to think of it, I dont regret it but I felt that i could have been patient and wise. I am trying not to make that mistake again and try the body trimming the hardest way.
I gave birth 8 months ago and having my mom over with me didnt do me much help as she forced me to eat well so i can feed my baby..This just added extra pounds to my weight. I was bloated up.
Now, that the Queen has left, the Princess is ready to shed some weight. I am very weight conscious and me being overweight now really makes me depressed.
So, I started off running at the park near my block and realized that my knees and joints were very weak and wobbly. I had to build up the stamina. Currently am doing crunches, plunges and squats.
I have also reduced my food portions. I dont really think that starving would do any help but only result in doubling the weight that we lost very quickly. I tend to eat everything but of course in a very small portion. I just eat juz a small scoop of rice to get enough carbs to burn that day. Instead of 3 meals I day, I expand it to 5-6 meals a day, with healthy snacks and small portions. Include lots of vegetables and fruits in your diet. Drink lots of water. Its very essential to remain hydrated due to body weight loss. Its faster this way. I make it a point to drink 500ml an hour before every meal and in between intervals. Drink Green Tea to detox the impurities. Its yucky the first time, but once you get used to it, you will love it, trust me.
Firstly, am planning to get some strength on my feet so I can run and do heavy activities. Now, that I have controlled my food intake and have built up self discipline, I am planning to join zumba next month, of course for those who are not willing to spend that few extra bucks, there are lots of zumba/aerobics videos on youtube for free. The point is to sweat it all out. The more you sweat, it increases your metabolic rate, the more you lose weight. But remember to stay hydrated. There are many trainers on youtube that provide useful information, excercises and tips to lose weight.
Once you get a hang of it, and maintain a rhythm with your exercises, either with dumbbells or if you have a gym at home or at the public gym, tone down the loose fabs of fat that needs to be tightened due to weight loss. Weigh yourself every month and measure your body statistics once every month after a shower. Keep a record of your weight loss. Don't lose hope ladies, I know its not easy but I am sure you will be able to do it.
Remember that this weight loss can never be achieved overnight. Keep your head up high and All the best lovelies.
Till next time, Hurdle Up Ladies.
Best Regards

Accessories Haul
Lets start in a new way from now on, shall we?
"Do not let your difficulties fill you with anxiety, after all it is only in the darkest nights that stars shine more brightly." - Ali Ibn Abu-Talib (RA)
For the past few months, I have bought a few accessories that caught my eye. Being a huge fan and the interest to collect very unique yet beautiful designed accessories is totally me. My colleagues at work dubbed me as the Queen of Accessories coz I love to look out for accessories every time i go out shopping. Of course, there are so many shops selling Accessories and they are pretty much expensive. I tend to look out for those which are cute at the same time inexpensive. I have pretty much a good selection of accessories which I will share with you some other day.
Here are a few necklaces that I bought over the last few months...
House of Harlow Necklace - Online Shopping
I bought this online when I saw lots of models and people wearing it and immediately decided I gotta have it too...But every mall i checked sold this at a very high price, I like my accessories to cost less than SGD 10. Usually I wear my Hijab short so that the necklace is visible or sometimes I wear it over the hijab to look like its a border to the hijab. This necklace was just SGD 5 including delivery. I am very happy with my purchase. There are also textured House of Harlows but this will do. You get what you pay for so for this price, I am more than happy.
Owl Necklace - Online Shopping
Owls have been in trend last year and will always be a fashion statement bird. From Owl Earrings to shirts with Owls...you name it. I didnt want to be left out either. I had to get my hands on this as well. Found a site that sold this for as less as SGD 8. This is a long necklace so it was nice to have this peeking out of my hijab.
Stone Necklace - New Look
New Look was having a sale, basically most of the items including clothes and accessories at New Look are a bit pricey. I happened to do my usual window shopping to know whats on sale. There it was dangling calling me to come have a closer look. Its original price was $20.99 and there was a red price label below showing the price as SGD 6.99 and I was like wow.... Its sparkly and cute. Long and beautiful with a blue dangling bead, it just looked romantic in a way. I had to have it. Getting a branded accessory at SGD 7 is a great steal.
Short Tribal Metallic Necklace - Shana (Spanish Fashion Evolution)
I love Shana, they originally started its outlet at JEM in Jurong, and subsequently opened a branch in Bugis. This necklace looked pretty cute and it was marked down to just SGD 8 and it was totally worth the uniqueness of the design. With light blue and white beads dangling in the bottom, it was too cute. It would look beautiful on a white Tee. Unfortunately Shana at Bugis has closed down.
Green and Gold Stone Neckalace - Cotton On
You wouldnt believe how much i got this long necklace for. This was at Cotton On and one thing i love about Cotton On is that they have frequent sales and the prices are so low. They have branches all over Singapore so its convenient. They also have a sister branch called Rubi - That deals with shoes and accessories and another called Typo - That deals with stationery and decoratives. I got this long necklace for just SGD 2. Yes! You saw it right, its just 2 bucks. It has this modern yet traditional look to it.
Yellow Rhinestone with Pearl drops Necklace & Peachy Stone Bracelet - Indian Store/ Forever 21
This was bought at a random Indian store along Serangoon Road. This however cost me SGD 15 but I thought it was worth it as it was just too pretty to let go. The bracelet was however bought from Forever 21 at Orchard. It cost me just SGD 2 for this and I was really happy with it. When I stack up a lot of arm candies, it looks really pretty.
So, Ladies, Hope you love my Haul and am looking forward to show you more. I have ordered some stuff online and I am hoping to share with you my reviews about it.
Till then, Take care :)

Plans...Plans....Plans...
Hi My dear lovely Hijabis,
Hope all of you are doing well...I am really looking forward to write more blogs whenever I get the time which I do for the moment.
Have so many blog ideas that I would love to write about and explore. Initially I thought this could be like a Fashion Only Blog, but now, I feel like instead of talking about just that, probably i should include everything that a hijabi like me does on a budget.
I would love to share with you what I really look for and do in order to stay on a budget from food to clothes shopping.
I am a shopaholic but in the cheapest way possible. I got the inspiration to blog about budget hijabi from many Youtubers out there and in no way am I a match to them. In Singapore, we have this Clicknetwork channel on Youtube that also focuses on Fashion and there is this segment called Budget Barbie, where the hosts gives viewers ideas on where and how to get things on Budget ($100)
This really triggered me to start my blog since I myself look out for cheap valuable stuff. I am generally a very outgoing person and straight to the point. I dont really like to beat around the bush. Although my attitude is very bold and straight forward, I still find it a bit awkward or unsafe for me to post pictures or tutorials of myself on the internet. I will of course post pictures of stuff that may interest you and will provide you my review and knowledge of them.
Should you have any comments, ideas or questions, feel free to ask me at the comments section below or you may email me at arudh370@gmail.com
Take care...

What's in my Cosmetic Bag - Let's take a peek...
Good Morning Lovelies, Hope you are all doing well...
Lets take a look into my cosmetic bag which I always carry around with me wherever I go... Depending on my mood or theme I am adapting or going to, lipsticks may differ.
Currently you may find these essentials in my cosmetic bag. All are drugstore products and bought on offer. Always take note that when buying make up essentials, unless, you know what you are buying, always try on different brands and shades to ensure that it suits your skin tone. Sometimes some products that I use may not suit your skin tone, but, in that range they have different shades to suit your skin type and your preference.
Silky Girl Foundation Powder - Deep
Being of Indian Origin, I have light dusky skin. To match my skin tone, I had to get compact powders which also doesn't look cakey on my face making me look artificial. Among the low cost range drugstore Foundations, Maybelline has a good range but it cost just slightly more than Silky Girl. Fit for Asian ladies, Silky Girl has different shades to suit your skin tone. I love this powder coz it matches my skin tone exactly and its Oil-free with SPF 25. You can get this at a reasonable price of SGD 10.90 at most drugstores. Some stores may sell slightly higher.
Maybelline The Magnum Volume Express Mascara - Black
This is one of the older ranges as there have been newer versions of the upgraded Mascara. There has been so many new ranges being released almost every few months, but this has been my classic favourite. I have yet to try the newer varieties, as I dont normally wear mascara, except to parties or meetings. The newer Mascaras provide high volume in your eye lashes and make your eye lashes appear longer. Maybelline products dont clump that easily and it looks beautiful on your lashes.
Revlon Custom Eyes Waterproof Mascara - 921 Blackest Black Noir Intense
This is another mascara that I love as it is very intense and dark. It looks beautiful in your eyes. Its waterproof so you dont have to worry about smudging or tearing. Yes of course, there are newer editions to the Revlon Mascara, like I said, I dont normally wear too much mascara so I have yet to finish it to buy new ones. I am looking forward to invest on a new mascara soon. Lets see what I can get at a low budget.
Maybelline Clear Smooth B.B Cream - 01 Fresh
Ever since B.B Creams entered the market, I have been in love with this product. Before applying my foundation powder, i apply my b.b cream evenly across my face. This clears away any blemishes or uneven coloration on the skin to look bright. It reduces the appearance of pores, skin redness or acne. It provides all day hydration and helps to protect skin from UV rays and free radical. It has SPF 26 PA+++. Its smooth and has visible whitening effects. I simply love this product. I have other brands too but the review is for another day.
Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner - Black
I love this liquid liner. I dont normally apply liquid liners, I usually use Gel / Pencil Liners from Maybelline and Couleur Inc. I really wanted to try liquid liners after watching a few tutorials on youtube. The first few times I tried this, my shivery hand juz made drawings all over my eyes making smudges. But once I got the hang of it, I have been loving this liquid liner. Drawing cat eyes with liquid liner really makes your eyes dominant and beautiful.
Lipsticks - Different Shades (Revlon, Couleur Inc., Nyx, Silky Girl & Maybelline)
I have quite a number of shades from different brands and depending on my mood I wear and carry around that shade of color that I want. Will write more on the different shades that I own with the help of color swatches so that you know the difference on another blogpost.
Nyx Icredible Waterproof Concealer - CS07 Tan
Concealers are a must for camouflaging our black eyebags and other blemishes on our skin. It is very crucial to get the right tone as this gives the right blend to match our skin colour. Always take note that when in doubt to get professional help from the promoters at the store. They will give you recommendations and choose the right product for you.
JA Cosmetics Bronzer - Warm Tan
This is when I need that extra contour to my face to bring that definition. I apply it on my cheek bones and the bridge of my nose to give that Tan bronze elongating my face.
Maybelline Jelly Glow Blush - Light Pink
I got this at Watsons along with another eyeshadow and a few other eye products as samplers. This jelly glow lives up to its name as its as soft as Jelly. To be frank, I am no fan of this blush, but this helps us on the go as it comes in a small compact container. Applying it with the fingers onto your cheeks gives you that radiant blush.
Maybelline Hypercosmos Eyeshadow - CP-1
This comes in a highly pigmented glittery brown eyeshadow. To bring about the smokey effect, this is very suitable. The lighter color goes onto the eye lid followed by the darker color at the crease of the eyebrow and blended in to create the smokey effect. Looking forward for some sale of sort so that I can start collecting more colors.
Eyelash Curler, Blush Brush and Eyebrow Brush (Bought from Forever NEW) are the other essentials you may find in my cosmetic bag. Of course, you may also find makeup removal pads, cotton buds and moisturizer.
I hope i didnt bore you with my huge cosmetic items that you can find in my pouch. And Oh yeah..my red cosmetic pouch is from Body Shop.
Looking forward to experiment with more colors in the near future. Till then, ta ta..
