Starbucks Frappuccino - At a Budget

"He is the One who created for you, all things on earth and then turned to the heavens and made them seven heavens. He is knowledgeable of all things." (Qur'an 5:29)

Good morning lovelies,

I am back with more yummy findings at a good budget. For those who love Starbucks beverages like me, but find it an extra expense to spend 6 bucks for a small cup..here is an alternative. This is however, just a replacement that you can buy in the stores. I have however some recipes that you can recreate at home to actually match Starbucks drinks. That will be for another day so I can actually write up with pictures. For now, its Starbucks coffee that you can get at half the price at the supermarket. I know that it would be no match to the fresh coffees but still its worth it if we made slight tweaks to it.

You can get the Starbucks Frappuccino in 3 flavours, namely, Mocha, Coffee and Caramel. It costs just SGD 2.85 from the supermarkets. You can chill them in the fridge and enjoy the same Starbucks coffee at half the price. It comes in a sealed cute bottle and if you cant finish it, you can actually seal it back in the fridge and keep for later.

It contains just 200 calories to keep you going and awake for the rest of the day. For those on the go, this is the best alternative instead of waiting in the queue at the Starbucks.

How I like to tweak or jazz it up is by blending slightly more milk and ice cubes to make crushed blended coffee. I will pour in the glass, put some whipped creams that you can find it the supermarkets that sell it at SGD 4. I might decorate it with chocolate chips or sprinkles, caramel or chocolate sauce on the top. This will look exactly like the coffee that we get at Starbucks at half the price.

I have also recipes to recreate Cotton Candy and Shamrock Frappuccino using milk and other products from our kitchen making it Starbucks quality and tasty too..This is for another day though. Till then,

Love
