I have many more body lotion favourites from all different brands ranging from St. Ives, Body Shop, Bath & Body Works to Victoria Secret.
Let me share with you my favourite Day Time Body Lotions for this month. This hot summer really drenches not only our energy but also the moisture from our skin leaving it very dry. To prevent our skin from scaling or cracking, I prefer to use these wonderful products for different times and occasions. Lets get into detail, shall we?
Versace Revitalizing Body Lotion
I usually wear this when I go out for a party or when I meet up with my fellow friends. I normally would love to wear this before I get dressed up for the occasion. This not only leaves my skin soft but also leaves me smelling good. Not too strong and not too sticky. Sometimes, I don't wear parfum after applying this lotion coz its fragrant enough to last a few hours. I got this as a complimentary gift along with a gold clutch when I bought Versace Parfum at Takashimaya. It was an offer and I guess i fell for the whole package for the price I was paying. I guess it was less than SGD 80. I know it doesn't really come under the budget category but when you have gift vouchers or chance to spend a few extra bucks, look out for packages like this and it would last you a quite a long time. Vaseline Healthy White Instant Fair Body Lotion
This is one of my favourite lotions that I love to apply after I am out of the shower. This lotion gives the extra moisture that our body requires to lock in after the shower. I apply it all over my body especially my hands n feet. You just feel extra soft and fresh after applying this. You would not feel sticky or uneasy after applying this. Vaseline has lots of choices which comes with different coloured packaging. I think i have practically tried every single one of them. I just returned from a drugstore and noticed this Vaseline in purple packaging and hadnt had the time to check it out. Once I am done with this, I probably would get that and give it a try. Will give you my review on that later. With no doubt, I would choose Vaseline products for my after shower lotions with my eyes closed. Rate : 4.5 / 5
Palmer's Olive Butter Formula
This is an intense body butter for those moments when your skin gets too dry. This really helps and you would definitely feel the difference in your skin after a few days. When I have really dry feet, I usually apply this at night and apply socks. When i wake up the next morning, my feet would be like baby feet. Just so soft. This is slightly pricey if you get it in a big bottle compared to the normal vaseline brand. I found this small cute bottle at the local drugstore. It was just SGD 2 for this travel size. Rate : 4.5 / 5
I highly recommend my readers to always keep a lookout of the travel size bottles of products which are always on sale at the local drugstores and you can get them for as low as SGD 2. Once you use them, and believe its the right product for you, you can buy the big bottles.
